Solomon's 2002 Seascape at Karanjou Passage. The intense colors can only be seen with the use of a strobe. Image Number 792-25 I have never seen this nudibranch. The white with a gold edge was spectacular on the black volcanic sand at Ghavutu. Image Number 787-18 The Ghost Pipe Fish was almost invisible in the sea weed. You can see why they developed the body shape, color and vertical position. John had to point this one out. I could not see it. Image Number 796-19 Orange corals in the Solomons are unique. I always try to find them, but this time I did not have enough bottom time to wait until a small fish swam by.Image number 789-13 I tend to swim by the Crocodile fish, they are uniquely camouflaged. As always I had the wrong lens so I could not get the whole fish, but the 105mm captured the jaws and eye that truly resemble the real animal. Image Number793-14 This anemone and Clown Fish are tough to get to pose. I like the orange fish against the red anemone mantle. Image Number 789-13 West Wickham has a reef face that is covered with these red soft corals. On this dive the current was very strong pushing me toward the reef. The corals were in full bloom and I had to push off to get the shot. Whew! Image Number 796-14
