Maldives Seascapes

Horse Power Reef was one of the few places where the currents were strong and the hard and soft corals were alive

The balled Anemone and fish were every where on the reefs of the Maldives. On one reef I counted 100. I wondered how the fish kept track of "their" anemone.

There were many Tridacna clams on Horse Power Reef. In this picture I like the blue mantle of the clam over the pink soft corals.                                                                                         Film Velvia, f stop 11, Lens 45mm, Image Number 631-29

A magnified surface of a soft coral gives some indication of the complexity of life in the sea.

The anemone and  Banner Fish form a pleasing image. The current was strong and the shot a lucky one.
