Critters This Green and Black Nudibranch in Kokuana Passage, Solomon Islands, has a pose I have never seen. My grandchildren are in love with it. Film Velvia, f-stop 16, Lens 105mm, Image Number 180-2 Velvia Ridge, or Baby Cakes, is one of the more interesting sites in the Solomon's. I had never seen this green nudibranch. It was fun trying to get it to pose. Film Velvia, f stop 22, Lens: 105mm, Image Number: 592-23 This is one of the more spectacular Nudibranches I have seen.It was taken on a "muck" dive in PNG this spring Film Velvia, f stop 32, Lens 105mm, Image Number: 711-18
Getting the Arrow Crab to pose on a Sponge at Mesa, in Grand Cayman took time. I finally got all of the wide spread legs in a pose where you can see the crabs' claws. Taking u/w pictures takes patience. Film Velvia, f-stop 22, Lens 105mm, Image Number 65-28 When I saw this Peterson Shrimp on a tube anemone at the Wreck of the Ann in the Solomon Islands I did not realize it was pregnant. Some pictures just are surprises. Film Velvia, f-stop 32, Lens 105mm, Image Number: 595-22 This pigmy seahorse is about 1/16of an inch. I took this picture at maximum magnification while neutrally buoyant. It was a task I do not think I will try again.Film: Velvia, f-stop f32, Lens:105mm, Image Number: 689-7
