All of the following pictures were taken on Velvia with the strobes set at 1/2 power and Ikelite diffusers

Who would think that nature could make such a beautiful image of a bow gun on the Shinkoko Maru

  Image number 767-30. The davits on the ships in Truk Lagoon offer a substrate to much of what Mother Nature has in her bag of tricks. Here we have soft and hard corals sponges and an anemone with fish on the Heian Maru

 Image Number 768-22    This is the opposite side of the Shinkojko bow gun that opened this web. No matter how you look at the growth it is just amazing!

R2D2 is an air compressor three levels down in the engine room of the Fujikawa Maru. Of the 20 or so images I have taken,  this is the best. It is a very crowded space and the air bubbles from me generally rain rust down on the compressor.
